Ever noticed that as soon as you post a link to your website on twitter you get like 20-60 visitors to that link instantly? Is that traffic real, or is it faked by twitter to make their website seem more popular, and a great place to spread news? I mean there must be thousands of website owners posting links, no way has twitter got enough visitors to visit all those links!

Hey, I am thinking about using AdBrite, but I don't want to use anything that will harm my visitors or my Google ranking. Are they safe to use or should I leave them well alone?

This is another one of those urban myths that floats around out there that I am not sure I believe. Do some ad networks (not the big ones), simulate traffic? If they do, would they not be harming themselves? Especially sales oriented websites would surely switch to another network if the traffic that was provided did not generate much business?

Anyone ever notice how inconsistent Cost Per Click rates are? One moment you get a dollar for a click, the next it is one cent, and then all of a sudden you get a $2 boost! Does this make any sense?
