I have started training for a marathon, and must admit I have straight away been hit by multiple blisters. Will these go away the more I train, or just get worse? Should I be investing some money into blister plasters, or just have patience and bear with it? Some advice would be much appreciated!

Would anyone here recommend eating chicken every day to bulk up? I know that chicken has a lot of protein in it, but how many times a week should I be eating it?

Hey, I am training quite a lot to run in competitions, and naturally enough I am having a closer look at supplements to help speed up my recovery time and give me an extra edge. My question is though how will I know if a supplement has got banned substances in it, whether or not it is allowed or not?

Is it enough to exercise your core for 10 minutes at the end of every workout, or should I be looking to do more? How much time needs to be spent on the core?

I have a pulse watch, and based on my age it has calculated an upper HR limit for me. The thing is though I regularly exceed this limit, especially when I go sprinting up hills during my runs, and to be honest I don’t see what it signifies. Is it just an indication that I should not be regularly running for 40 minutes beyond that level?

A friend told me recently how he got a pretty impressive 6 pack with carboloading, ie not taking in any carbs throughout the week, and loading them on really heavy over the weekend. And while this approach, combined with some serious cardio, seems to undeniably result in some serious ripped muscles, I go to ask whether or not this kind of approach is safe? To me it sounds really unhealthy!

Hey, I keep getting blisters on my feet when I go running. Is this due to me having ill fitting shoes, or do I need to harden off my feet somehow? I don't usually buy cheap running shoes, but they always seem to have the same effects, and leave blisters in the same spots.
