Just thinking out loud here, but if cloud computing involves trusting online services, hosted remotely and off site, wouldn’t this be a huge security risk? Let’s say that one hacker manages to get beyond an online cloud computing hosts firewall, wouldn’t he all of a sudden have the opportunity to access information from thousands of companies, instead of having to hack his way through their firewalls one by one?

Seriously, is it just me, or do anti virus programs take ages to do their job now days? I swear it used to take just about an hour to scan my PC a few years ago. Now days it takes hours on end. What on earth has happened to their efficiency?

When Emails have a virus they are usually stored in the form of an attachment as far as I know. My question then is the following, do you need to open the attachment for the virus to start spreading, or does it do so as soon as the email is opened? On Outlook express for instance, you cannot click on an email without the email opening up. Just something that is bugging me.

Hey. I can't decide which OS to go for, Windows 7 Professional or Home Premium? Is there any major difference, any reason why I should buy the Professional. I am a student, and really only using it for home use, coursework, games, etc.

Hey. If I don't feel like forking out a fortune for Adobe Photoshop, what program should I get? Seriously, Photoshop costs way to much for just an image program.

I have just received a rar file, and although I know it's just an alternative to a zip, I seem unable to unzip it. What program should I be using? Will I have to pay for one?

Hey. Just curious since Norton is usually the standard Anti Virus Product that is installed when you buy a PC/Laptop, but is it actually the best? Are there others that are better more reliable? Or is Norton the standard that everyone is trying to beat?
